CWM’s new Disability Action Project and Grant Programme was launched in August 2016, where $600,000 has been set aside to be disbursed over five years for projects that advocate the life and leadership of people with disabilities.
“A More-Able Church” grant fund seeks to challenge and inspire member churches to devise new projects that honour the lives and ministry of people with disabilities and raise their participation and leadership. Three pilot projects in support of, accompaniment with, and advocacy for persons living with disability were identified, and will become learning centres for other CWM churches.
