Chairman of the Guyana Congregational Union Rev. Noel Holder paid a courtesy visit to the United Church in Jamaica and the Cayman Islands by attending their Convocation on April 16, 2016. Rev. Holder brought greetings from the GCU and affirmed the bond of friendship between the two member churches.

CWM Caribbean is the smallest of CWM’s geographical regions consisting of only two member churches.

The partnership between the churches is fostered in various ways including joint youth activities, leadership solidarity visits and sharing of resources. In this way member churches are strengthened by each other’s gifts and learn from each other’s experiences. Rev. Norbert Stephens, General Secretary of UCJCI, visited GCU during their Assembly in 2015.  The Youth Forum on Human Trafficking held in Guyana in 2015 brought together youth from both member churches and other Caribbean countries within the Caribbean and North America Council for Mission (CANACOM).
