The first issue of INSiGHT in 2023 arrives amidst fears of a global recession and places the spotlight on “Life-flourishing Creation and Economy, one of the focus areas under CWM’s new strategic framework. Pacific Lutheran Theological Seminary Professor of Ethics Dr Cynthia Moe-Lobeda reminds us that climate justice pursued in a Christian community bears witness to transformative discipleship; CWM Mission Secretary Rev. Damon Mkandawire writes about the need for a credible theology on ecological and economic justice relevant to Zambia’s culture, as well as how life-flourishing creation involves the courage and creativity to heal and restore through planetary solidarity. Finally, Parulihan Sipayung and Chammah Kaunda from GIT/UGST, Yonsei University propose a posthuman divine economy – an economy with God as the foundation – for creation care.

Be encouraged. Be inspired. Be informed. Welcome to INSiGHT.
