LMS missionary, Miss Alvinza Riddoch turned 100 on 3rd May, 2014. She  served in the mission field for several years, working in 3 countries – China, Singapore and Taiwan. She was appointed by the London Missionary Society, LMS, to South China and served in Yung Chun until 1948. After that, Miss Riddoch used her teacher training qualifications to teach in the Kuo Chuan Girls’ School in Singapore from 1949 to 1952. She was then assigned to Taiwan where she taught at a number of institutions from 1952 until her retirement in 1975.

Miss Riddoch currently resides in Northumberland in a home for the aged. Council for World Mission joins in celebrating her many years of faithfulness and her long walk with Christ as a loved and cherished mission partner.
