This Easter, we are given two instructions as believers in this world: Arise and shine (Isaiah 60:1). In other words, be visible, be seen, radiate, glow, and sparkle, even in the context where you are. We are all challenged to take our place. And then you may ask, why?
Why should we arise and shine when there is so much struggle, negativity, oppression, and injustice, and so many difficulties in this world? Even Isaiah says, “Behold the darkness covers all the earth.” But the word of God is powerful for us this season. We rise and shine because Your light has come.
