40 years of God’s continual mission moving God’s people from everywhere to everywhere to establish justice, prophetic witness and liberation for all creation. This calendar of events for 2017 gives an exciting glimpse of celebratory activities and events for CWM, which has come a long way since it was inaugurated on 18 July 1977.
The anniversary commemorations will be built around the theme Healing the Broken Body. The formal launch of the theme will take place at the Annual Members’ Meeting in Singapore, in June 2017. The theme will be infused in all CWM programmes at global and regional levels, beginning in March 2017 until June 2018. The themes will serve as our rallying call to continue our journey of being part of the life-affirming movement in a broken world.
