The United Church in Jamaica and the Cayman Islands (UCJCI) is seeking a mission partner to serve as the Head of Psychology and Counselling Departments at its university, the International University of the Caribbean (IUC). As an innovative private university specialising in the humanities, IUC’s emphasis is on collaborative, interdisciplinary learning, informed by peace building and community engagement.

This role will involve leading and managing the Psychology Department to realize its potential and deliver excellence in the full portfolio of academic programmes and activities, within the context of the operation and strategic development of the University. The Faculty of Psychology seeks to deliver programmes that are designed to meet the psychological challenges that are emerging within various types of organizations and require interventions that are rooted in an understanding of psychological theories and practices as well as psychological dynamics that are associated with the individual, groups, and systems.
