Churches Together in Britain and Ireland (CTBI) has produced a new Bible Study resource “Sanctuary: The Hospitality of Host, Guest and Stranger” offering reflections, prayers and ideas for action for this year’s Refugee Week from 20-26 June. Produced together with Rev Dr Inderjit Bhogal and Dr Jayme R Reaves, it supports Christians, church communities and ecumenical groups in reflecting on the significance of sanctuary for our time in the context of Refugee Week. The Sunday at the end of Refugee Week is designated as Refugee Sunday, that allows them to express through prayer and witness how sanctuary and hospitality to the stranger is central to the Christian call to love our neighbours.
