The Barishal Diocese of Church of Bangladesh (COB) organised several Women’s Fellowship Seminars at Jobarpar and Khulna Deanery last October, with discussions on several themes including “Women are worthy of respect”; “Creation Care” and “Thy Kingdom Come”.

Honourable Bishop of Barishal Diocese Shourabh Pholia visited Rajshahi City Church’s revival meeting in late October as the guest speaker, sharing about busy-ness and distractions from the pursuit of the kingdom of God. In addition, Barishal Diocese organised a prayer seminar at St Mary’s Church, Jobarpar together with Bangladesh Prayer Movement. This included a special prayer for the preaching service of all the denominations in Bangladesh for the furtherance of God’s kingdom.
