Four of the eight participants slated for the A New Faith and Culture Exposure programme have begun a week of orientation in Kingston, Jamaica.  It is anticipated that four other participants will join the group in the coming weeks.

Participants have been getting to know each other and the team of facilitators and introduced to the reflection process and context placement schedule.  On Wednesday October 14, they visited the offices of CWM Caribbean and the United Church in Jamaica and the Cayman Islands (UCJCI). Rev. Norbert Stephens, General Secretary of UCJCI, led them in a session where he introduced Jamaica and the United Church.  Mrs. Karen Francis and Mrs. Vickeisha King Burke of the CWM Caribbean team led sessions on Developing Missional Congregations, Critical Thinking and Context Reading.
