by Dr Preman Niles, former CWM General Secretary (1991 – 2002)

Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ!

Forty years is not long in the life of an organisation. But it is long in terms of what CWM has achieved in moving from its colonial roots to becoming increasingly a true partnership in mission as neglected voices are heard and new hands appear as active instruments in world mission. It was a privilege for me to have served as General Secretary during this period of transition and it is with joy that I see the progress that is being made.

God in his mercy has provided CWM with the needed resources for the work that lies ahead as it bears witness to the love of Christ in a world that is increasingly being torn apart with the politics of hate. This is a blessed calling and an important ministry.

May God’s name be glorified!
